Inexplicable Yet True !

thought to express the needlessness of our efforts to compete with God

because we are only His creation*

Wonder how buildings tower yet never reach the sky?
Climbers seek to reach the peak but miles from reaching high;
Reached the moon and galaxies - from where no place to go
The depth of mighty waters only brings us back ashore..

To every notion, we look for reason and seek till it satisfies
None has gained All Knowledge yet zeal to attain it lies;
Scripture teaches us contentment - yet again,
We let that go by..

Ambition reigns in trying to beat men of the human clan;
Competing with heaven is and never was part of the plan.
He gives us in plenty, forever providing, each need to satisfy ...
To reach the sky, no reason why we even wish to try !!
